With the whole celeb lot going crazy over the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, we can't wait to see if Kollywood's very own philanthropist, Ajith Kumar, will take up the bet anytime soon.

The actor, who is always game for charity services and has backed many such causes in the past, is yet to take up the challenge — a fun bet aimed to create awareness against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and generate fund for its research and finding cure.

The actor has been nominated by Arun Vijay, who is playing the baddie in Ajith's forthcoming Tamil movie directed by Gautham Menon.

Arun not only nominated Thala, but the entire cast of the movie! Now, Ajith fans are waiting to see if he will rise up to the challenge.

Arun Vijay was nominated by his “Vaa Deal” co-star Karthika. He, in turn, nominated Jayam Ravi, Venkat Prabhu, Harris Jayaraj and the entire cast and crew of 'Thala 55'.
