Yash and Radhika Pandit starrer film "Mr and Mrs Ramachari" will be delayed. Shooting for the film was scheduled for this week but had to be cancelled as a huge set was destroyed by incessant rains.

The film was to be shot in Nelemangala, but the area has been lashed by incessant rains in the last two days. Shooting for the entire film is almost over, except for two songs. One of the songs is a title track featuring the lead stars and more than a hundred dancers that was scheduled to take place at Nelemangala.

The cost of picturising the song was estimated to be Rs 75 lakh, the set itself cost Rs 40 lakh.

Art director Mohan B Kere, in association with 25 artistes, had put up the set in the last 20 days.

Mohan says the team had worked night and day to create the set. It was finally done and shooting was to begin the next morning. The crew were giving finishing touches when the rain and hailstorm started and destroyed everything, added Mohan.

The entire set, which included metal frame structures, was down within two hours. Paintings done on a dozen trucks got washed away in the rain. But thankfully none of the crew members were injured, says Mohan.

"Mr and Mrs Ramachari" was scheduled for release on November 1 release. But now it's likely to  be delayed.
