Blackheads result from oil, bacteria and accumulation of dead skin cells on your facial skin. The skin bears the brunt of pollution and unhealthy eating habits. It is essential to keep your skin clean to prevent blackheads on your face. Usually blackheads appear on your nose, chin and forehead. Here are a few beauty tips to prevent appearance of blackheads on your facial skin.

Remove makeup before sleeping

Keep your skin free of make up as much as possible as they clog pores. If you can't do without makeup then remove it as soon as you are home. Never ever sleep with your makeup on. Avoid wearing foundation everyday as it clogs skin pores. Only use a makeup remover to remove makeup.

Cleansing

Cleanse your face at least two times in a day using a good face wash or cleanser. If you have oily skin use an oil-free cleanser to keep your nose and cheeks oil-free. This is important as blackheads afflict people with oily T-zone.

Steaming

Take steam on your face to dislodge blackheads and to remove the excess dirt from your skin. Alternatively you can dip a hand towel in warm water and hold it to your face. This will help to remove blackhead from your facial skin. Remember to use a toner after using steam on your face.

Exfoliation

Exfoliate your skin at least twice in a week to remove blackheads and dead skins. Choose an exfoliator appropriate to your skin type to scrubs off accumulated dead skin. Include bi-weekly exfoliation into your beauty regimen to prevent appearance of blackheads.
