The first date is important as it can make or break your future chances of a relationship with her. It can be quite stressful as you have to talk the right things, look good, be interesting and above all you have to make an impression on her. Here are a few places where you shouldn't take her on the first date.

Dinner

Going for dinner seems to be the best place for a first date. But think again it may not be a good idea. Going to a fancy restaurant that has exotic dishes on its menu seems the right way to impress her. It may work in movies but in real life the situation can be intimidating. Imagine the two of you have nothing more to talk of. It's going to be an arduous dinner. Also think of the bill that comes. It's ok if she is your partner but nothing can be said about a first date – it may work it may not. So why invest so much on a dinner date.

Movies

Most couples go to a movie on their first date. But a movie date is not the ideal place for the first time you go out with her. The reason why you two are together for a date is to talk to each other. If you go to a movie you will not talk much and will not be able to find out if there is a spark between the two of you. So a movie theatre does not work for a first date.

Your favourite bar

Your favourite bar is your home turf. It definitely works in your favour when it comes to your image. But it also happens to be your popular haunt and you have quite a few friends at this place. There will always be someone or the other coming up to say 'Hi' to you. So you won't get to talk much with her. Stay away from your favourite bar at least on your first date.
