Happy marriage is not unachievable. It just needs some attention and nurturing. Couple who are in a happy marriage brings out the best in their relationship. In such a relationship both the partners experience positive energy. A happy marriage needs healthy habits from both the spouses. Your healthy habits in the relationship are more likely to be appreciated by your partner than a grand gesture.

Marriage is more about day-to-day affairs between the partners. So inculcating healthy daily habits will be good for your relationship. Follow these simple daily habits in your marriage and you will cultivate positive energy in your relationship.

Give hugs

Hug your spouse or partner whenever you reunite - after a short office trip or a day's work in office. Your hug should last for at least 20 seconds, as in that period the body releases oxytocin, the hormone responsible for bonding behaviour.

Greet your spouse

Start your day with a smile and greet your spouse. This will instill positive energy. Besides when you say loving statement like, "Good morning, I am so happy to wake up beside you everyday" the marriage feels positive. The statement itself will draw a smile on your partner's lips and both of you will start the day with a good mood.

Send playful text

Use your mobile to send playful texts to your partner. You can text anything - "I love you" or "Waiting for you to come back home soon" or a simple "I miss you" will bring you closer to your spouse. Such text messages will help you to renew your feeling. But remember not to overdo it.

Give compliments

Your partner appreciation for whatever they do towards the relationship. Take note of what they do instead of concentrating on what they fail to do. A partners often feels unappreciated and taken for granted in a marriage. Make sure to compliment your spouse on their appearance when you go out for dinner or to watch a play.

Touch therapy

Touching your partner during dinner is a good habit. You could touch the hand or arm. Even if your legs keep touching each other it will do the trick. Touching behaviour in marriage helps to strengthen the relationship.
