Marriage is a sensitive relationship. It doesn't require hardwork, but it definitely needs attention and care. A happy marriage brings out the best in each of the couple in a relationship. Such a relationship gives positive energy to both the partners. Incorporate healthy habits to nurture good relations with your spouse. It's more likely to be appreciated by your spouse than a grand gesture. Marriage is about day-to-day affairs with your partner so a healthy daily habit is great for your relationship. Here are some simple daily habits that you can cultivate to bring a positive energy into your marriage.

Greet your spouse every morning

Start your day lovingly. Greet your partner with a positive and loving statement like, "Good morning, I am so happy to wake up beside you everyday". Such a statement will bring a smile to your partner's face and put both of you in a good mood for the entire day.

Playful text

Send texts to your partner using our mobile. It could be anything, "I love you" or "I miss you" or "Waiting for you to come back home soon". The text messages will renew your feeling for each other. But don't overdo it.

Give a hug

Give a hug to your partner whenever you reunite - after the day's work in office, a short office trip, etc. Make it last for 20 seconds at least, for in that period oxytocin, the hormone that bonds is released.

Compliment your partner

Appreciate your partner for the little chores they do. Concentrate on what they do rather than what they failed to do. Often in a marriage the partners feel unappreciated and taken for granted. Also it is important to compliment your partner on their appearance when you go out for dinner or to catch a play.

Touch therapy

Make it a habit to touch your partner while eating dinner together. It could be their hand or arm, also your legs touching each other will also do the trick. Touching strengthens the bond in your marriage.

The above healthy habits will do wonders for your marriage. Besides you can try to feel each other's breath to increase the intimacy between the two of you. Looking into each others eyes will also strengthen your marriage.
