Mahendra Singh Dhoni's silence on the IPL 6 spot-fixing has infuriated many, but the unruffled cricketer has too many important things to care for than unwarranted scandals. Talking about it for the first time, the captain jibed that perhaps a laundry service would have kept the event unsullied.

"We will try the laundry, that's good, will keep us clean," Dhoni, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings told the press.

The wicket keeper-batsman jetted down to the UAE yesterday for the first leg of the seventh IPL which will be played there owing to a clash of dates with the ongoing general elections in India.

Dhoni, who has been accused of trying to protect the main betting accused and CSK's former Team Principal Gurunath Meiyappan, has so far avoided all questions about the IPL.

The skipper was condemned for being tight-lipped on the matter despite his team being at the center of the row.

Just last month, he sued ZEE television network for Rs 100 crore for falsely insinuating him in the betting scandal.
