Though Indian batsmen started the innings very poor as Shikhar Dhawan (4) and Virat Kohli (5) dismissed early, Rohit Sharma's strokeful 150 helped India to score 364 for five.

Afghan team managed to score 211 runs in 50 over, 153 short of target. Mohit Sharma and Ravindhra Jadeja got 2 wickets each, while Mohammed Shami had not taken any. But the day belonged to Rohit, whose dominating innings laid the foundation of a strong batting show. He stitched a 158-run third wicket partnership with Suresh Raina (75) to help India gain ground.

The last practice match, before World Cup main event, helped Indian fans to believe in our batsmen as they could able to run for score. It is important for India to beat Pakistan on Feb 15th, for confidence in rest of the matches. Afridi said his team can come above Indian squad, while Irfan Patan stated India is a far superior side than Pakistan.

Both the arch rivals will have huge pressure from their nationals, so the players should also begin, continue and conclude the match well.
