Today South Africa players demolished the Windies team with over all action. The RSA batsmen proved once again dangerous with bat. Batsman AB de Villiers individual score of 166 runs in 66 deliveries, which is fastest 150 in ODIs. Safaris score 408-5 is the 2nd highest in World Cup total.

The West Indies batsmen not even chased the AB de Villiers score, they were packed by the South Africa bowlers at 151. South Africa registered win with 257 runs margin, which is equal to India’s record against Bermuda in 2007 WC event.

This is third best margin for South Africa after 272-run win over Zimbabwe in 2010, 258-run win over Sri Lanka in 2012. However the biggest winning margin is held by New Zealand with 290 on Ireland in 2008.
