The dual SIM Microsoft Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL smartphones have been launched in India officially with the price tags of Rs 11999 and Rs 15799 respectively. Both the devices are coming with similar specifications.

Both the smartphones are powered by 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim, but they are eligible for updating with Windows 10 in the future. 1TB of OneDrive storage and a subscription to Office 365 free for an entire year with Redmond giant. Both the devices are having 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and 128GB microSD expandability and two variants are havind LCD panels same at 720p HD resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, but sizes are different.

Microsoft Lumia 640 is having 5-inch screen, 3000mAh battery, 0.9MP front cam, and 8MP main camera. While the XL model has a larger 5.5-inch touchscreen with a 3000mAh battery, the cameras are having 5MP selfie shooter and 13MP for main.

Both the handsets are coming with 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor, Dual SIM support, and HSPA+
But, according to mobiletor report the Microsoft Lumia 640 smartphone will be available exclusively through Flipkart, and the Lumia 640 XL will available both online and offline across the country.
