Honor's Magic 8 series is about to introduce two new models in China, known as the Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design and the Magic 8 Pro Air. The smartphone brand has been hinting at the launch of these devices for some time now. Recently, Honor announced when the Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design will be released, which will occur on the same day as the Magic 8 Pro Air in China. Furthermore, the styles and colors of both phones have been disclosed. The Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design will be available in two color choices, while the ‘Pro Air' version will come in four different colors. In a Weibo post on Monday, the tech company revealed that the upcoming Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design is set to launch in China on January 19 at 7:30 pm local time, which is 5 pm IST. Additionally, the phone will be available in Moonlight Stone and Slate Gray colors (as translated from Chinese). The Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design will have three rear cameras arranged in a squircle-shaped module. The center-aligned Porsche Design branding will be visible on the back, along with the brand's logo. The left side of the device will remain simple, while the bottom may include a USB Type-C port, a speaker grill, and a SIM card tray.
On the right side, the phone is expected to have a power button, volume buttons, and an unknown button that looks inspired by Apple's Camera Control. Separately, the Chinese smartphone maker has shared the design and color options for the upcoming Honor Magic 8 Pro Air, which is also set to launch in China on January 19. This phone will be available in Fairy Purple, Light Orange, Feather White, and Shadow Black colors (translated from Chinese). It will have a horizontal pill-shaped camera layout that includes a triple rear camera setup along with an LED flash. A speaker grill will be placed on the top. The power button and volume controls will be situated on the right side, while the left side will remain uncluttered. The Honor Magic 8 Pro Air is expected to be only 6.1mm thick and weigh around 155g. The company plans to release more information soon.
