Sony LinkBuds Clip were introduced in certain North American regions on Wednesday. These are true wireless earbuds that clip onto the ear, designed to let users listen to audio while still being aware of what’s around them. Their always-open design helps avoid blocking the ear so outside sounds like traffic and conversations can still be heard. The clip is shaped like a C, sitting outside the ear to provide a snug fit for various ear shapes while minimizing discomfort for extended use. It also has removable cushions that help adjust the fit for stability during daily activities and light workouts. The Sony LinkBuds Clip are priced at $229.99 (about Rs. 21,100) in the US and CAD 299.99 (about Rs. 19,900) in Canada. They can be bought from Sony's official website, Amazon, Best Buy, and other authorized sellers. The earbuds come in colors like black, greige, green, and lavender. Extra case covers and fitting cushions can be purchased separately for $24.99 (about Rs. 2,300) in colors such as coral, green, blue, lavender, and black.

They have an IPX4 rating for water resistance, which protects against sweat and light rain. For sound, the earbuds use 10mm drivers and are compatible with SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs. They also support Sony's DSEE upsizing technology and have a 10-band equalizer that can be modified using the Sony Sound Connect app. Additionally, these earbuds support 360 Reality Audio and a background music feature. There are three listening modes: a standard mode, a voice boost mode for clearer talking, and a mode that reduces sound leakage. Call quality is enhanced by a bone conduction sensor paired with AI noise reduction to clearly capture voices in loud places. Touch controls are included, as well as quick access features and scene-based listening that adjusts sound based on the environment. They connect via Bluetooth version 5.3, allowing for multiple connections to two devices simultaneously.
As stated by the company, the battery lasts for up to nine hours of playback with the earbuds alone, and a total of up to 37 hours when used with the charging case. A quick charge feature claims that just three minutes of charging provides up to one hour of playtime. The charging case has a USB Type-C port. Each earbud weighs around 6.4 grams. The charging case's size is about 50.4×50.4×32.6mm and it weighs approximately 42g.
