Motorola Edge 70 Fusion was introduced in India on Friday. The device runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 main rear camera featuring optical image stabilization, and it includes a 7,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging. The smartphone operates on Android 16 with Hello UI and will be available for a limited early sale today before being widely released next week. In India, the starting price for the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB versions are priced at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 32,999, respectively. Customers can benefit from a Rs. 2,000 instant discount if they use HDFC and Axis Bank credit cards or an exchange bonus of Rs. 2,000 on eligible devices. With these offers, the effective starting price is reduced to Rs. 24,999.
The phone comes in colors like Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Country Air, and Pantone Silhouette. There will be an early bird sale today, March 6, from 12pm to 4pm via Flipkart. The general sale begins on March 12 at 12pm on Flipkart, the Motorola India website, and in retail locations throughout India. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has a 6.78-inch Super HD 1.5K (1,272×2,772 pixels) Extreme AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a maximum brightness of 5,200 nits. This screen supports 10-bit color depth and a full DCI-P3 color spectrum and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The smartphone operates on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, with options for up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It is shipped with the Android 16-based Hello UI and guarantees three OS upgrades along with five years of security updates.
