Undoubtedly Samantha Ruth Prabhu has a very strong base in Telugu states. One of her fans proves that again. Sandeep Tenali, who lives in Alapadu, Chunduru mandal, Bapatla district has constructed a temple for Samantha in his house premises. Sandeep was a big fan of Samantha, he went on to visit temples at Tirupati, Chennai and Nagapatam praying for her recovery from myositis, when she was diagnosed with the disease.

When Sandeep came to know about Sam’s sickness he prayed to build a temple for her if she completely recovers. Now he is following the same and plans to open it on 28th April, making Samantha’s birthday the occasion. Sandeep is a fan of Samantha not only her acting, he is inspired by her philanthropic work through the Prathyusha Foundation. This is the first in Andhra Pradesh, while Niddhi Agerwal, Kushboo, Nayanthara and Hansika have temples for them in Tamil Nadu.
