Oldest Facebook user Edythe Kirchmaier has celebrated her 106th birthday. Edythe's Facebook account was flooded with tons of birthday wishes, reported USA TODAY on its TV show SocialEyes.
One year ago, when Edythe Kirchmaier opened an account on Facebook, she couldn't even enter in her birth year. And today one of her Facebook pages has more than 47,000 followers and another page has more than 12,000 likes.
For someone who signed into FB when she turned 105, it is incredible that her page in Direct Relief has 129,741 likes. Direct Relief is a non profit organisation that provides medical relief to people around the world.
As part of her birthday celebration last year, Edythe appeared on the Ellen Show where she was asked "what is your secret, what do you do, that keeps you so alert and aware?"
"If I tell you the secret, it won't be a secret." was the prompt reply from Edythe Kirchmaier. It seems, humour keeps her alive and kicking.
