NRI's can be easily spotted in India by their unique behaviour patterns. The moment an NRI lands in India there is a drastic change in their behaviour. They develop an accent, everything is too dirty, polluted and noise. The irritating part is they forget that India is their country of birth or origin. Even foreigners don't behave the way NRIs do in Indian soil.

Some of the things that NRIs do are pretty dumb and offensive to resident Indians. Here are some of the dumbest things that NRIs do in India, when on a holiday.

1. Made up 'foreign' accent

NRI's speak with heavy accent, which is quite funny, when they visit India. The made up accent  for a week or more just to tell people around him that he was educated in the US or a foreign country.

2. Only bottled water

While in India an NRI will look out for only bottled water. They feel ordinary water will makes them sick.

3. Can't survive without coke

In India an NRI will drink only coke. And to be more specific, they only drink Diet coke! They cannot be separated from their bottle of black water for long.

4. Love for NBA and soccer

He will have an excessive love for NBA and soccer. The most annoying things noticed in an NRI while in India is his projection that the love for hockey and cricket by Indians cannot match to their love of NBA and soccer.

5. Too spicy for me

An NRI in India will tear up when a morsel of spicy food. This seems unnatural as Indians are known to eat spicy dishes even on a foreign locale.

6. Pollution/ traffic everywhere

Most NRIs keep complaining about the high level of pollution in India. Indian streets have too much traffic is another complaint of NRIs. 7. Everything is dirty

Covering the nose constantly to avoid pungent smell in the streets is something only an NRI does in India. According to them, when they left India it was dirty, but now it's much more filthy.

8. Sentences starts with “back in the states..."

An NRI cannot leave the states where it's. He/she has to bring it in every sentence uttured. This makes them hilarious and a source of amusement to resident Indians.

9. Need tissues and more tissues

They cannot manage without tissues. A visiting NRI behaves as if going to the loo without a toilet paper roll is something illegal. This is the first sigh that a person is an NRI visiting India.

10. Stray animals

The reaction to a stray animal on the street is always dramatic. If they see a cow on the road, they act as if they had an encounter with a dinosaur. For resident Indians this is amusing as well as annoying.
