As the Pakistani Army strengthened its anti-terrorism operations in the wake of Tuesday's Taliban's Peshawar school attack that left 148 students and teachers dead, unauthorized reports said that Tehreek-e-Taliban of Pakistan(TTP) chief Mulla Fazalullah was killed in an airstrike inside Afghanistan early Saturday.

"News of Fazlullah's killing is being confirmed by Ministry of Defense." tweeted by an unverified account named Pakistan defense ministry stated.

However, the director general of the Inter-Services Public Relations is only authorized to issue statements on terror strikes.

The Army is acting stringently in North West Pakistan region bordering Afghanistan from six months. This only caused Peshawar attack, as per Taliban’s statements.
