Shasi Tharoor addressed a press conference in Thrissur and said that he is grieving on his wife death. He will be co-operating the police for speedy result.

Shashi Tharoor said, "I have lost my wife and I have not been able to mourn in peace". I have been silent for this one year period, for the smooth passage of investigation.

"I have been the one who has been remaining silent on the issue. I could not engage myself in a public debate on the issue. I, my personal staff and the personal staff of my wife Sunanda Pushkar will fully cooperate with the police probe", Tharoor said.

Shasi slammed the media saying media is just looking for TRP ratings by making the issue controversial and serious. He also told media that in every possible way co-operate the investigating persons and authorities.

"My silence is not sinister," added Tharoor at the end.
