Chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, also one of the richest men in the world, cum billionaire Mukesh Ambani has been a successful business man for quite sometime. It is not shocking to receive threats from those who do not accept the rich in this world, but it is also not okay. There are a lot of threats that the rich generally receive but this one was quite unusual and here is why:
On Thursday, outside the billionaire’s home, Antilia in Mumbai, an SUV, with explosives was found. It was reported that this SUV was stolen from the Vikroli area of the city a few weeks ago. The number plate on the car was completely damages, but the police managed to identify the original owner of the vehicle.
According to news reports, the bomb disposal squad in Mumbai towed a green colored Scorpio which was found abandoned near Ambani’s home. After suspicion regarding the car being left to brazenly in front of the house, the security called the police, who later then sent the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad. They reached the spot immediately and found explosive material Gelatin inside the vehicle. However, the explosive bomb was not assembled. The vehicle is currently undergoing investigation.
Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh is investigating the whole matter vigorously. Despite the fact that Ambani has Z security, which is one of the safest and best security systems in the world, police have deployed more personnel and have increased security in and out of the house and with the family members as well.
Although the building has multiple CCTV camera systems, the appearance of the car is currently untraceable. Investigators and the police have believed that this must be a well, thought out and smart crime, as they have avoided most of the plot holes in a crime.
But here is where the twist is:
There was a threat letter found inside the Scorpio van, with the explosives. According to the FIR report filed by the billionaire, the letter was handwritten, in broken glisten and had multiple grammatical errors. The letter was addressed t to the billionaire couple, Mukesh and Neeta Ambani. Basically, the letter stated that the van was a warning to the family. The anonymous bomb planters have also stated that they are not scared of the cops and will make preparations to assassinate the entire family sooner or later.
Mukesh Ambani has always been on Forbes top 10 as one of the richest person in the world. It was until the ending of the year 2020, when the Reliance head’s net worth dropped, switching him from the 7th richest to the 10th richest, possibly because of the pandemic.
