The coronavirus pandemic left a huge impact on all the countries, fields and economies. New Zealand was one of the most impacted countries and the country is keen to take up coronavirus vaccination for the entire population. New Zealand will buy the additional coronavirus vaccines that are developed by Pfizer Inc along with Germany's BioNTech. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced the news today.

The government of New Zealand signed an agreement to purchase 8.5 million doses of vaccine so that they can be used to vaccine 4 million people. The vaccines are expected to reach the country later this year. New Zealand will order 10 million doses of vaccination in total for the 5 million people residing in the country. Their original agreement with Pfizer was just 1.5 million doses and this can help to vaccinate just 7.5 lakh people. After the vaccination was proved to be 95 percent effective.
