New York Subway Shooter Arrested After a Long Manhunt

A shooter opened fire in a subway near New York that killed ten people and injuring many. The gunman set smoke in the premises, opened fire and fled from the spot. Several parties staged a long manhunt and nabbed the culprit Frank James who was traced as per the van he took for rent. The suspect was taken into custody this morning. Frank James was 62-year-old and he fired a semi-automatic handgun and it was later recovered from the scene. Three extended ammunition magazines along with a hatchet have been recovered along with a container of gasoline. Five of the injured are in critical condition as per the update. All the other victims are expected to survive.

This is one of the most violent incidents in the recent times in USA. Frank James was taken into custody from the neighborhood of Manhattan's East village. The bystanders posted the pictures of James after which the cops reached the spot and arrested him. The investigation will commence today. The New York Police Department (NYPD) told that James left the keys of a rented U-Haul van at the 36th Street station in Brooklyn's Sunset Park region. The YouTube account of Frank James was recovered. The cops tried to reach him out on his mobile but were unsuccessful. James' sister, Catherine James Robinson told that he was on his own life and the entire family was left in shock with his act.
