India Reports the Highest Covid-19 Daily Tally in 93 days

The daily tally of Covid-19 is increasing slowly in the country. For the first time after 93 days, the daily tally crossed 5000 mark. A total number of 5233 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country taking the total to reach 4,31,90,282. The daily positivity rate is at 1.62 percent in the last 24 hours and the weekly positivity rate is 0.91 percent as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. There are 28,857 active cases of coronavirus and the death count climed to 5,24,715. Seven new deaths of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours as per the reports from the Health Ministry. There is a 41 percent jump in the new cases of coronavrus in India.

A total number of 3345 people recovered in the country from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The total number of recoveries in total are said to be 4,26,36,710 and the total tests conducted for coronavirus are 85,35,22,623 and the vaccination doses administered for coronavirus in total are 1,94,43,26,416 while 14,94,086 doses are given in the last 24 hours. The total tests conducted for coronavirus in the country yesterday are said to be 3,13,361. The total new cases reported in India yesterday are said to be 3714. The states of Maharashtra, and Kerala have been reporting a high number of cases of coronavirus. Kerala reported 2271 new cases and Maharashtra reported 1881 new cases.
