Delhi Rouse Avenue Court dismissed the bail plea of former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia related to a corruption case in Delhi excise policy alleged payment of 90-100Cr, which related to money laundering. This is the second time the same court rejecting the bail application of the deputy chief minister.
On February 26th Manish Sisodia was arrested in connection with the irregularities of liquor policy. On March 31st his first bail application was rejected. Today his custody was extended up to April 29th. Based on the CBI case, the Enforcement Directorate conducted a probe and arrested nine members. There is also a probe on diverting funds through Hawala for AAP’s poll campaign in the 2022 Goa Assembly election.
