In Hyderabad, many colonies were filled with knee-dip water. The government has taken necessary precautions and also shifted many people's stay in the down stream area of the rivers into a safe place.
By the direction of congress president Revanth Reddy, many party workers have reached the flood-affected areas and provided help to the residents. Secunderabad DCC President Anil Kumar Yadav also confirmed that congress leaders had distributed food and also helped to clear fallen trees. The initiative of Congress at the time of flood and extreme rains is pleased by Telangana public.
