Gujarat to Get Sixth Vande Bharat Train

The latest Vande Bharat Express, linking Asarwa in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with Udaipur City in Rajasthan, is scheduled to be inaugurated today, and it will begin regular operations on February 18. This marks the sixth Vande Bharat train in Gujarat, enhancing local travel connections and improving ease for passengers, as well as promoting tourism and economic growth. A statement reveals that the Indian Railways is dedicated to local development by offering improved connectivity with upgraded stations, new rail routes, and advanced amenities. The Asarwa-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Express exemplifies this dedication. This modern train comes with several new features, such as reclining, comfy seats, sliding doors, mobile charging ports, a bio-toilet, automatic entry and exit doors, and CCTV surveillance. It aims to deliver a quick, safe, and comfortable journey for travelers.

For the exclusive inaugural ride, Train number 09663 Udaipur City-Asarwa Vande Bharat Express will leave Udaipur City at 12.25 PM on February 16 and arrive at Asarwa by 5.15 PM. During its journey, the train will make stops at the Jawar, Dungarpur, and Himmatnagar stations, as mentioned in the announcement. The regular operations will commence on February 18 with Train number 26964 Asarwa-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Express, which will depart Asarwa daily at 5.45 PM (excluding Tuesdays) and arrive at Udaipur City by 10.00 PM. Likewise, Train number 26963, Udaipur City-Asarwa Vande Bharat Express, will leave Udaipur City every day at 6.10 AM (excluding Tuesdays) and will reach Asarwa at 10.25 AM. This train will also stop at Himmatnagar, Dungarpur, and Jawar stations in both directions. It will consist of a total of 8 coaches, which includes AC chair cars and executive chair cars. Ticket reservations for Train no. 26964 will open on February 15 at all PRS counters and on the IRCTC website.
