BJP leader Arun Jaitley on Monday hit out at Priyanka Gandhi for her comment that compared BJP leaders to "panic-stricken rats". Jaitley said that Priyanka has "lowered the political discourse" with her remarks on the BJP.

The BJP leader also warned Priyanka that the Vadra family need not be scared of anyone. They just need to be "scared of the law". The Vadras are not above law, said Jaitley.

The BJP leader wrote on his blog that law spares non – the rich, the famous or the related all are accountable to law, added Jaitley.

On Sunday, the BJP realeased a video and a booklet accusing Robert Vadra of illegal land deals in Haryana and Rajasthan.

Priyanka immediately hit back back at the BJP, comparing the saffron party to “panicky rats”. She also said that she was not afraid of the accusations of the BJP. That she would continue to speak out about the destructive, negative and shameful politics of the BJP.
