Speaker Sumitra Mahajan Asks Adhir Choudhury to Leave House

Adhir Choudhury, an agitating congress member in Lok Sabha banged his placard on the table of the Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan for which he was asked to leave the house. The incident prompted Sumitra Mahajan, the Speaker to adjourn the house for an hour.

When the discussion was underway on the Delhi High Court (Amendment) Bill, 2015, Adhir Choudhury banged his placard. Congress members in the house were demanding resignation of Sushma Swaraj, External Affairs Minister, Vasundhara Raje, Rajasthan Chief Minister, and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

BJP member Meenakshi Lekhi spoke on the bill after D V Sadananda Gowda, Law Minister, moved the bill for consideration. Lekhi spoke amid slogans against the government by the Congress members.
