While one would have expected our very own desi-B-town stars to glitter at the 15th International Indian Film Awards (IIFA), quite surprisingly, it were Hollywood hunks like Kevin Spacey and John Travolta who turned out to be the real scene-stealers at the “Bollywood Oscars” held at Tampa, Florida last evening.
Thee Hollywood swashbucklers got the audience berserk as they joined the show's emcees — Farhan Akhtar and Shahid Kapoor in “lungis” and sportingly shook their booties to the”Lungi Dance”.
Kevin Spacey, who plays the conniving Congressman in the popular Netflix series “House of Cards”, waltzed with Deepika while Travolta fired up the stage with Priyanka and Hrithik in tow and grooved together to the tunes of “Tune mari entriyaan”.
Spacey and Travolta's presence at IIFA marks a quantum leap for the awards event which has been working hard to leave a footprint in international film circles.
Reportedly, both Travolta and Spacey are great admirers of Bollywood films and were thrilled to be a part of the three-day gala awards affair. Spacey welcomed Bollywood's ambition to grab a wider market, internationally, citing it as beneficial to bring cultures together and Travolta too seemed upbeat about Indian film industry's international foray.

Travolta who will be seen in Shekhar Kapoor's must-awaited biggie “Paani” believes that Hollywood could take a lesson or two from Bollywood and is eying to do a film with Deepika Padukone in the future. Whoaa!
