Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor might have denied dating each other so far. But there is definitely more to their story than meets the eye. The latest we hear is that the actor splurged on a huge rock to gift his ladylove. That's right!

A little birdie tells us that Aditya Roy Kapur recently bought a diamond ring when he was touringSurat, the hub of diamond trade, for the promotions of his upcoming film, 'Daawat-e-Ishq'.

Aditya Roy Kapur and his co-actress Parineeti Chopra, who are out on their Food Yatra, reached Surat on Friday evening. Their first stop there was supposed to be in an ice cream parlor. Large crowd gathered to catch the two stars live. But to everyone’s surprise, he even went missing from the scene for a while.

Turns out that the actor had apparently sneaked out to a diamond store nearby to buy a diamond ring for his ‘Aashiqui 2’ co-star. But couldn't get into the store following the massive crowd.

“The actor was surrounded by a 15,000-strong crowd; this is why he couldn’t enter the diamond jewellery store. He then called another jeweller to his hotel later in the day and bought a diamond-studded ring from him,” a source is quoted as saying.

When questioned about his disappearing act, Aditya chose to remain mum and smartlybrushed the matter aside. The actor’s spokesperson, however, confirmed that h bought a diamond ring from the city.

Something is surely cooking there!
