Actress Sonakshi Sinha has signed her first women-centric film. The current queen of masala movies is super excited about the women-oriented film that she has signed.

The talented actress who has quite a few hits to her credit since her dream debut Dabangg (2010) opposite Salman Khan. Sona has worked with actors like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.

However, the pretty actress wants to do powerful and challenging roles as well. Now that she has signed a women-centric role in a film she is eager to start shooting.

Sonakshi says that after her strong performance in "Lootera" she had been offered with various roles. But she was not convinced by any of them. The Holiday actress says that 'Lootera' was written keeping her in mind. But the other roles she was offered were not convincing.

On being asked whether the women oriented movie is a remake of a south film, she refused to divulge any information saying, 'wait for the announcement'.

At present Sonakshi is busy promoting her upcoming film Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, co-starring Akshay Kumar.
