Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's "Kick" has entered into the Rs.200 crore club. The Eid released 'Kick' has become Salman's highest grosser movie in India.
"Kick" reached the 200 crore mark on the 11th day since its release. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh on Monday posted on Twitter that "Kick" has entered the Rs 200 crore club.
Taran Adarsh's twitter post on Monday read: "Salman Khan marches into ₹ 200 cr Club. #Kick crosses ₹ 200 cr mark today [Mon]. Salman's HIGHEST GROSSER in India."
On Saturday Adarsh had tweeted: "#Kick [Week 2] Fri 9.22 cr, Sat 10.62 cr, Sun 14.18 cr. Grand total: ₹ 198.11 cr nett. India biz. Nearing ₹ 200 cr mark. BLOCKBUSTER!"
Salman Khan is one of the most bankable stars of Bollywood. With the success of "Kick", Salman has given seven Rs.100 crore grossers in a row in the last five years.
"Kick" staring Jacqueline Fernandez and Salman Khan was released on eve of Eid. It was a solo release in over 4,900 screens across India that worked.
The tried-and-tested masala film crossed the Rs.100 crore mark in four days making it a blockbuster.
