Pete Seeger, the legendary folk music revivalist, passed away at a US Hospital on Monday in Beacon, New York. He was 94.

Lauded for songs like "Where Have All the Flowers Gone", "Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is a Season)" and "If I Had a Hammer (The Hammer Song)", the musician died of natural causes, leaving behind a long legacy of music, music and more music.

Pete Seeger underwent a heart surgery in December to replace a valve.

Seeger was in the hospital for six days before his death. He had stopped talking for the last three days.

R.I.P the legend.
