Sitcom superstar and one of Hollywood's well-known comic actress Jennifer Aniston has been roped in to do Daniel Barnz's 'Cake'.

Produced by Courtney Solomon, the film is a joint collaboration of Chinese TV producer Shenghua Entertainment and After Dark Films.

Patrick Tobin has scripted the story.

Speaking about the collaboration, Solomon rvealed, "Our goal is to find great material and great talent and let them do what they do best and Shenghua has proven a great partner to make that happen."

Aniston, 44, was last seen in `We`re the Millers` that did a fairly good job at the box-office.
