Director Rick Ostermann won The Bridge award at the Munich festival for his debut film. The German director won the acclaimed prize for his political film 'Wolfskinder'.

Set in 1946, 'Wolfskinder' is a period drama that revolves around a group of war orphans. They struggle to survive in post World War II ravages in Europe.
