Actor James Lafferty is all set to star in film 'Waffle Street'. Lafferty will join Danny Glover in the Indie film that is centres on the recent stock market crash.

James Lafferty will play the role of a hedge fund VP, who works at a 24-hour diner after losing his job.

Ian and Eshom Nelms are directing the movie, from a script written by the Nelms and Autumn McAlpin.

The film around Lafferty's character, a $30 billion hedge fund VP. After losing his job in the recent stock market crash, he takes up a job at a 24-hour diner. While working as a waiter, Lafferty meets Edward Collins (played by Glover).

Shooting for the film will start from August 4 in Lehi, Utah.

McAlpin, John J. Kelly and Brad Johnson are producing the movie.
