Gillian Anderson would love to track aliens and find ghosts. Doesn't make sense isn't it? Well the actress was recently asked on Reddit AMA whether she would like to be part of the new all-female 'Ghostbusters' reboot.

Anderson, it seemed, was not familiar with project but quite enthusiastic about it. The upcoming project will be directed by Paul Feig.

The X-Files alum wrote: "OH MY GOD, I just looked it up online". "Paul Feig, cast me now! Start a Twitter petition! I'm free!!!!! I'm free I'm free and I'm funny, goddamnit!

And when someone offered to help her with the petition, Anderson responded: "MAKE IT HAPPEN!!"

'Ghostbusters 3' picked up steam only last week when Paul Feig joined the project. Feig will work on the script with Katie Dippold.
