Megan Fox is all set to star in upcoming film 'Zeroville'. Fox will feature as the female lead in James Franco's adaptation of Steve Erickson's novel. The book is set in the Hollywood of late 1960s.
Franco is directing and starring in the film.
The story centres around a film-obsessed man (played by Franco) who comes to Hollywood in 1969, when the studios were in the decline and independents were rising. Franco gets the job of a film editor as he witnesses the world transforming culturally around him with sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. He encounter several characters ranging from former starlets, burglars and political guerrillas to punk musicians and veteran filmmakers during his job as film editor.
Fox is playing the character of a Hollywood starlet with a troubled past. She becomes Franco's love interest and obsession in the movie.
Franco along with Vince Jolivette, Caroline Aragon and Michael Mendelsohn are producing the project.
The film also features Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Will Ferrell, Jacki Weaver and Horatio Sanz.
Shooting for the movie has started in Los Angeles.
Megan Fox recently appeared in Paramount’s "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", which was a big grosser at the box office. Her recent films include "This Is 40" and "Friends With Kids".
