The most talked about two-wheeler brand, Bajaj V is unveiled and it would be available for sale in India from March 2016. The bike is made from the metal of INS Vikrant, the first aircraft carrier of India. The all-new motorcycle is expected to be priced between Rs 60,000 - Rs 70,000.
According to Bajaj Auto, “For decades, she remained invincible bravely guarding our seas. However in 2014, this iconic war hero was sent to the scrapyard. But we, at Bajaj, were determined not to let history fade away into oblivion. So we took INS Vikrant’s metal, melted it and gave it a new face – Bajaj V.”
The Bajaj V15 is designed to serve as premium yet affordable segment bike for buyers. Interesting elements in Bajaj V15 include a Scrambler look with Cafe Racer-inspired styling elements; INS Vikrant badge; 5-twin spoke alloys, etc. It has a lean and bold body lines, removable rear cowl, premium texture material, LED tail-lamp, bold graphics, 5 double spoke alloys, premium instrument panel with color changing LEDs, ergonomic handlebars for wide open chest feeling, pumped up fuel tank etc. Bajaj V would be available in two colors: Ebony Black & Pearl White.
