World fashion has a whole new meaning! New York based architect-turned-designer Azin Valy has launched a new fashion line that will turn the wearers into beacons for lost travelers.
Labeled as Cityzen, her collection of dresses, purses and scarves in silks, satins and leathers is clearly inspired by world destinations. Silk-screened in vivid hues, the collection features intricate aerial maps of 14 different cities across the globe including Chicago, Manhattan, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Dhaka, Tokyo and Rome, depicted artistically in her garments and accessories.
Topography translates itself into straps, belts and interesting necklines while bold colors and interesting silhouettes make heads turn in awe.
Ms Valy was inspired to come up with this first-of-its-kind of womenswear range after conducting extensive research for an exhibition on urban planning for the Museum of Modern Art.
The scarves are priced at $250, dresses from $762 and bags from $918 onwards.
First Lady of the U.S.A, Michelle Obama is one of the first few to own this collector's womenwear.
