Infidelity in a relationship is the most common reason why partners separate. Infidelity of your partner, especially if you deeply love and trust the person, is quite hurtful. But it's better to know the truth and separate amicably than to live a life of deceit. Here are a few probable reasons for your partner's infidelity.

Uncontrolled lust

A person who is in a relationship with you may not be truly in love but due to sexual lust. So when they tire of you then they look elsewhere. For such a person infidelity comes easily. Likewise a  partner with uncontrolled sexual appetite is likely to cheat when the other partner is not available. Moreover, a partner with high sex drive will look for sexual satisfaction elsewhere when their requirement is not met at home.

Partners don't trust each other

Any marriage or relationship where the partners lack trust in each other, is bound to be afflicted by infidelity. If a partner suspects the other partner to be cheating him/her then they are likely to indulge in revenge infidelity.

Material needs

Sometimes partner may be infidel due to material needs that the other partner either denies or is incapable to provide. Such infidelity is more likely by female partners who constantly feel the need to wear latest clothes and accessories or to have a fat bank balance. Such cheatings arise from the desire to have more than they are capable on their own merrits.

Low self-esteem

Men and women with low self-esteem are also likely to be infidel with their partners. A male partner will cheat if his performance in bed is not appreciated. Likewise a woman who is not appreciated in a relationship is likely to be infidel and try to get an ego boost by having another relationship.
