Another memorable European night at Stamford Bridge! Chelsea cinched a dramatic late goal, thanks to substitute striker Demba Ba, crushing Paris St Germain by 2-0 to enter Champions League semis on Tuesday.

Ba replaced Frank Lampard midway through the second half and scored a goal in the 87th minute, levelling the tie at 3-3.

Andre Schuerrle, who replaced the injured Hazard, gave Chelsea hope with a superbly taken goal after 32 minutes. However, Jose Mourinho's perfect record of winning all eight European quarter-finals he had played seemed to be coming to a close with time running out.

But Ba sealed victory after he deflected a Cesar Azpilicueta shot and scooped the ball past keeper Salvatore Sirigu sending millions of his fans into raptures and Mourinho sprinting with revelry.

"It all happened so quick," said Ba. "I saw the ball and it was in the goal. I just do what I have to do when I get chances. I didn't have chances this season but tonight I took it."
