The Redmi 15C 5G is going to be launched in India on December 3, which means it will be available very soon. Although some details about the phone are still unknown, the main features of the new Redmi 15C 5G have been disclosed. Recently, the company announced that the phone will be offered in India in three different colors, along with information about its processor, screen, and battery life. Additionally, the Xiaomi sub-brand has shared details about the rear camera setup of the device. The phone is expected to have a square-shaped camera module. The Amazon page for the upcoming Redmi 15C 5G has been updated to show that it will come with a 50-megapixel dual rear AI camera system. This is similar to the version released globally in September, which featured a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) main camera and another camera whose details have not been mentioned.
Furthermore, some hints about the design have been revealed. The Redmi 15C 5G will have a square camera module located in the upper left corner of the back. The new Redmi phone, which is confirmed to be powered by a 6,000mAh battery, is said to provide up to 329.7 hours of standby time, around 106.9 hours of music listening, approximately 28.9 hours of scrolling through Instagram, and about 23.1 hours of watching YouTube videos. Regarding what we already know about the Redmi 15C 5G, it will indeed launch in India on December 3. The phone will be available in the country through Amazon and the Xiaomi online store in Dusk Purple, Moonlight Blue, and Midnight Black colors. The device will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It will also operate on Xiaomi's HyperOS 2 software, which is based on Android 15. The phone is expected to feature various AI-driven tools, such as Circle to Search.
In India, the Redmi 15C 5G is confirmed to have a 6.9-inch display, which will support a screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz with Adaptive Sync technology. It will also come with TUV Rheinland certification to ensure “all-day eye comfort.” The cost of the Redmi 15C 5G in India is believed to start at Rs. 12,499, providing 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
