Talented Director Gunasekhar who scored massive hits in his career could not impress the audience with his recent films. He has worked hard and is coming up with his latest movie Rudramadevi which has completed shoot long back. This periodic drama has been made on a whopping budget and Anushka played the title role in the film. Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, Nithya Menon and Catherine played the other lead roles in the movie. The recently released theatrical trailer and audio have been receiving exceptional response from the audience.

The movie has been planned for release during the summer but the movie has been delayed and the release has been pushed to June 26th. However as per the sources, the movie has been delayed further and the pending 3D works are the main reasons for the delay. The movie has been made on a whopping budget and the pre release business has not been satisfactory which is another reason for the delay. Ilayaraja composed the music for the film and Gunasekhar produced Rudramadevi on Guna Team Works banner. Hope Gunasekhar will overcome all the problems and come up with a locked release date.
