Latest trend indicate the BJP to set win over 272 seats on its own. Narendra Modi has powered the BJP for this historic win in the 2014 general elections.
After forming coalition governments at the Centre for around 30 years the BJP is all set to form a strong government on its own. This win has been possible under the astute guidance and strategy of BJP's prime ministerial candidate.
The Narendra Modi wave has become a Tsunami now, sweeping the entire country under its influence. The stupendous performance of BJP candidates all over the country has ensured a rout for the Congress-led UPA.
If the BJP comes to power on its own, and it may be possibe going by the trends at present, then the Indian parliament may see the most dominant prime minister in decades.
BJP's PM candidate Narendra Modi won from both Varanasi and Vadodara constituency. In Varanasi Modi defeated AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and Congress' Ajay Rai. In Vadodara, Modi won by a margin of over 4 lakh votes.
The Modi wave has been possibe due to his own leadership and his close political aide Amit Shah. Due to the efficient grassroot organisation in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is trending in 65 seats.
Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi has offered to resign, taking responsibility for the Congress debacle in the state.
