Responding on this, senior vice president of Thomas Cook, Jatinder Singh said "the response to summer vacation bookings has been quite bullish right now. The exchange movement which has been happening right now, the fall down of euro has actually brought down the price of tours for Rs 15000-20000," said Jatinder Paul Singh, senior vice president, head-Leisure Travel, Thomas Cook.

"Last year 2014 the Euro was trailing somewhere close to 82, currently it's been trailing at 67," he added.

Thomas Cook said there is a clear uptick in the number of passengers choosing Europe as their holiday destination.

"We've been seeing an upward forwarding trend at say about 27-30 per cent upside over last year. It is the number of passengers we are talking about. So we've been seeing a lot of new 27-30 per cent more passengers been opting for Europe," Mr Singh said.
