India has given a huge blow to China with its Made-in-India Rakhi campaign. China faces a loss of Rs. 4000 crore due to this.

On the occasion of Rakhi festival on August3, 2020, India gave a huge blow to China by using rachis made only in India. Due to lack of sale on China’s rakhis, the country had to face a loss of Rs. 4000 crore.

With this move, India has successfully boycotted Chinese goods in all aspects. Yesterday, India has kept a ban on imports of color TV sets to check the influx of color TV’s from China.

On June 10, the Confederation of All India Traders association has decided to celebrate using Hindustani rakhis which turned out to be a huge success.

With the cooperation of traders of about Rs.1 crore, Rakhis were made across the country using Indian goods. Surprisingly, not a single rakhi was imported from China this year.

A wide-variety of new designer rakhis was made using Indian goods. Some traders of Gujarat have prepared rakhis with COVID-19 measures and precautions. The National president of CAIT had said that around 50 crore rakhis are sold every year at about RSs. 6000 crore while this year China has lost Rs.6000 crore as no rakhi was imported from China.

Talking about the next step of India in boycotting China, the National President, Bhatia had also said that India will start ‘China Quit India’ movement all over the country.

On the day of this campaign, traders will gather at more than 800 locations across the country and will shout ‘China Quit India’ slogans.

On the other hand, after a long wait of 500 years, on the foundation laying ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 5, traders all over the country will light a lamp or clatter bells in their shops and homes.

Since June, India has been avenging Chinese aggression at Galwan valley. India has first banned 59 Chinese apps and then ordered army jawans to delete Tik Tok and Facebook.

Around 14 Indian soldiers were martyred in the Galwan valley due to Chinese aggression at the border. Chinese have occupied the area along LAC by 1.8 kms since May 2020. Recently, Chinese troops have vacated Galwan valley area and are yet to vacate the Pangong lake area in Finger 5 area in eastern Ladakh.
