Kamal Haasan's MNM to contest in 154 Assembly constituencies

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan is active in politics and floated his own party Makkal Needhi Maiam. His party will contest in the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu that will happen next month. The seat-sharing with his allies is finalized and Kamal Haasan's party Makkal Needhi Maiam will contest in 154 Assembly constituencies out of the 234 constituencies. Makkal Needhi Maiam signed a deal with Sarath Kumar's party All India Samathuva Makhal Katchi and Indiya Jananayaka Katchi for the polls. AISMK and IJK has been discussing about the seat sharing that is finalized recently.

AISMK and IJK will contest in 40 seats each in the polls. Kamal Haasan is busy campaigning in the state from the past few months and he requested the people to vote for him for a change in the state. Kamal Haasan has been looking for alliances and all the deals are sealed. All the parties who are in alliance with Kamal Haasan are on a common goal of transforming Tamil Nadu and to take the pending programs ahead after the elections. Kamal Haasan will take a long break and will focus on the elections. The Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu will take place on April 6th and the results will be out on May 2nd.
