The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is all set to present the budget for the year 2022 tomorrow and before this, she tabled the Economic Survey today in the Parliament House after the conclusion of the speeches of the President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She said that the economy of the country is growing at 8-8.5 percent in the financial year 2022-23. The GDP growth rate for the current financial year is estimated to be 9.2 percent. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the economy is well placed and the government is all set to take up the challenges in 2022-23. The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 11 AM tomorrow after Nirmala Sitharaman tabled the Economic Survey 2022.
The agriculture sector reported a growth of 3.9 percent and the Industrial sector saw a growth of 11.8 percent. The Indian government is expecting a GDP growth of 8-8.5 percent in the next financial years.
