Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia claimed victory in Mariupol despite 2000 Ukrainian fighters staging in the giant steel mill. Russia claims that Mariupol is under their control but Ukraine says that they would resist till the last minute. Putin says he is concerned about the Russian troops. Russia is also in plans to take the full control of Donbas and southern Ukraine. The Deputy Commander of Russia's Central Military district told the same on Friday. Russia is also keen to acquire the land corridor between Crimea and the Black sea. The last fighters of Ukraine are left in Mariupol in the steel mill.
Russia said that its air force struck 58 military targets yesterday night in Ukraine. The Mayor of Mariuopol made an appeal for the full evacuation of the city after Russia announced that it is controlled by their troops. More than 1 lakh people reside in Mariupol. Mayor Vadym Boichenko told this on the television interview. There would be no evacuation of the civilians in Ukraine on Friday as the roads are too dangerous. Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk told this.
