Hyderabad City businessman Arun Ramachandra Pillai confessed to Enforcement Directorate (ED) that he had done transactions on behalf of Kavitha. Pillai said to ED that he received Rs 33Cr from Indo Spirits and of which 25.5Cr was directly wired and after miscellaneous expenses, the remaining Rs 5Cr was transferred to Creative Developer in order to purchase a property. Creative Developers is a partnership firm with Ravi Shankar Chetti. Pillai has made three transactions to transfer Rs 5 Cr for 3-4 acres of land in the Vattinagulapallu district.

Kavitha’s former auditor Buchi Babu also revealed that he bought a property from Srihari of Phoenix Group in the name of Engrowth Capital at a discounted price for Kavitha. Kavitha was summoned in connection with Delhi Liquor Policy amendments and attended a CBI inquiry. However, this is the first time Kavitha’s husband's name is out on the scam. DR Anil Kumar, husband of Kavitha was also part of the meeting held at the residence and proposed liquor business along with Sarath Chandra Reddy, Arun Pillali and Sameer Reddy in Delhi.
